Blackjack Success Tips

Blackjack is a great game that is also a online casino favorite. Whether you are playing online or in the physical casinos doesn’t usually matter. It is still a great game that can be a lot of fun. However, most people are not playing simply for fun. The ultimate goal of blackjack is still to make money, and there is plenty of money to be made if you know what you are doing and approach the table with a rational plan, a good bankroll, and a bit of advice.
First and foremost, you should never be going to the casino if you are tired. This means never! You do not need to be in a casino when you are tired and could possibly make a small mistake that can cost you money. Think about the potential earnings that can be lost in addition to the money you can lose from betting. You need to be wide awake and alert in order to play your best and this means making sure you leave before you are overly exhausted and staying home if you are too tired.
Additionally, stay away from alcohol. While the effects of alcohol may help calm your nerves, it can also start negatively affecting your profits. It is very important that you avoid this because you need your entire brain and mind focused on your bankroll and the cards in front of you, and also on the cards that the dealer can potentially have. Sitting around even casually drinking can have you starting to slip up and cost you the majority of your bankroll. This is something that should be avoided. If you insist upon gambling when you are drinking stick to penny slots or something that is cheap and will not chew up your bankroll.
Your next course of attack is to learn the blackjack rules and all of the possible hands perfectly. You should be able to tell at a glance based off of any two cards what they add up to, and what cards will beat them, and what cards will lose. You should be able to conjure this information up at a split seconds notice. This is important so that you can make quick and effective decisions while you are playing. The dealer certainly is not going to sit around for long while you try to make up your mind while playing. Learn all potential hands and their placement so that you can make the most of your money and increase the winnings that you are racking up.
Ensure that you know all of the house rules for the casino that you are playing in. This means asking when you arrive, and ensuring you check with the dealer as well if you need clarification. Rules can vary from one casino to another, so whenever you are in doubt or just do not know you need to ask.
When playing blackjack online, watch the way you are betting. If you start to notice that your luck is sliding, reduce your bets to the minimum bet again. This allows your bankroll to go further while you are losing. When you start winning hands again, start slowly increasing your bet. This allows you to capitalize on winnings, while reducing your losses as much as possible. Of course, this method is not always foolproof, but as long as you are carefully paying attention to things you should notice that you are making a much larger amount of money overall than if you are simply always betting the exact same amount.

Improve Your Blackjack Winnings

Blackjack is a very simple online casino game that almost anyone can learn how to play. However, there are some specific things that you really need to keep in mind if you expect to win any money. For example, you should never just blindly walk up to a table and throw money down, this can have you leaving empty handed quite quickly. Instead, follow some blackjack tips and you will see a much better return on your investment.
No matter what, you should never split a hand that has two tens. This is a steadfast rule, you are not likely to ever get a hand that will make up the difference and keeping the two tens together puts you in a very good position to win. Do not ever make a greedy move and split the tens, you will almost always lose if you do because the house advantage on a set of split tens is so high. However, your advantage with a set of tens is much higher than the house, which puts you in a very good position to win.
If you have a low hand, such as between the number 13 and 16 your best option is to stay. While this may seem strange, you should only do this if the dealer is showing a card of 6 or lower in their position. Most dealers will be so sure of hitting blackjack that they will bust, leaving you the winner. Avoid making the same mistake and just stay, even though it is a slim chance. Holding with a lower number and winning due to a dealer busting is still a win that will put more money in your pocket.
You should not waste your money on the insurance. Your money is much better spent playing additional rounds, wasting your time, effort and money on insurance will just cut into your playing time and will leave you with no real benefits.
Look to your hand and see exactly what you have. If you happen to have either a pair of aces, or a set of eights then your best move is to split. This is regardless of what the dealer is showing. Your chances of winning twice at this point are highly good, while the chances of winning with a total of 16 from the pair of eights is very slim. Additionally, the aces are of more value to you when they are split as well.
Look at your cards and determine exactly what you have, then look at the dealers card that is showing to see what is there. If the dealer is showing a ten you want to continue hitting your cards until you have at least a total of 17. You should never stop before then, as the chances that the dealer will have another 10 that is face down is quite high. Remember, you need to ensure that you can either hit a blackjack or cause the dealer to bust in order to achieve the best results.
The game of online blackjack can make you a tidy profit if you’re willing to invest the money. Without a nice bankroll available to help you win, then you’re going to find it disappointing to play, but still sticking to the guidelines above will help you make the best possible decisions and earn the highest profits possible.

Playing Online Blackjack to Make Huge Profits

There are numerous ways you can make a lot of money playing blackjack online and there are some ways that are not as effective. Learning to tell the difference between the effective methods and those that are not so effective are a large part of determining what you should do to ensure that you come out on top and walk away from the online casino, regardless of whether a physical or online version on top.
Your first step is always before you start playing read over carefully all of the blackjack rules. You do not want to start playing and suddenly come across some strange rules that you were not expecting. Instead, carefully read the rules so you know exactly what to expect rather than being surprised at the last minute. Small differences in rules can have a huge impact on your potential winnings.
Keep in mind that someone has to win at blackjack and you are playing the dealer so you want to come out ahead as much as possible. This means you need to really maximize your potential against the dealer and work to ensure that you are in the best position possible. This means never stay unless you have at least a 17, or unless the dealer is bust. However, there are always exceptions to the rule and they come in when the dealer starts with either a 6, 5, or 4. Most dealers are so determined to win that they will bust when they start with these cards so you should never hit over an 11 unless you absolutely have to.
If you have a set of aces or a pair of eights then you should always split them. This is no matter what the dealer is showing because you want to increase your chances of walking away a winner, and of course winning two different hands lets you really maximize your winnings quickly. Additionally, you should never split any face cards, tens, or fives that are in pairs as they are much more valuable to you when they are left together. If you have a set of eights or even sevens you should split them if the dealer is showing a card that is the same, or lower than your cards. This again helps to increase your chances of winning a nice sized pot.
Look for tables that require a minimum bid of no more than 5% of your bankroll. This will allow you to play as much as possible and increase your chances of winning numerous games. Of course, the less you can bet, the more you can play, but playing at a table with a high minimum bet is not a wise idea and can result in you leaving empty handed quite quickly. Protect your bankroll and always stick to the low side of bets until you have more experience and can afford the more expensive bets.
By taking advantage of some rules and strategies, it is possible to outsmart the dealer and make a lot of money. However, be careful that you do not make careless mistakes or become reckless in how you play or you will be ultimately harming your bankroll and your potential profits. Always keep your eye on the potential profit and do your best to protect that profit whenever possible.
